I've been so busy lately, I can't remember the last time I submitted something here >_<. I recently saw episode 1 of Bakemonogatari, and wanted to make a wall using a nice scan of Hitagi found over at Moe. The abstract effects seem to be overlayed on the reality in the series (to me anyways), and I wanted to represent that somehow.
Staples and various other stationary are also prevalent, so I used that as the device joining 2 forms of reality in a less than seamless way. The cartoony side with the purple pillars was fun to make and was inspired from a related scenic scan. I hope the concept turned out well, enjoy!

i think the green is wayyy too green, needs to be moreyellow and the leaves should stand out a bit more by being mroe saturated/darker?
