Firstly I can't take full credit for this
Sakura-Dust added the texture for me *3*
She has something against my love for blinding colours XD
But I'll add a link for the texture-less one too, because I'm stubborn >3
Though the one with texture does look better

KHR skin is so sexy, I wanted to have a go at it
Not completely satisfied but it came out better than I expected
This wasn't supposed to look so lusty! DX
But hey, nothing wrong with lust >3
Random choice of characters for a KHR wallie but I really liked the scan
Though I had no BG ideas
Seems the placement of characters makes it somewhat difficult
So I should explain this XP
Tranquility comes from something I remember Lal saying after her pacifier unclouds and turns blue
Something about the tranquility of her blue flames
And so thats also where the rain came from too
I just realised that probly didn't make sense .____.
I can't explain anything to save my life
I spent so much time painting Lal's scar trying to make it look less like a birthmark DX
But it just looked so crap so I left it how it is now.
Colonnello was dead easy
Lal was frustrating

I love the effects, the water falling down on them and such <3
The only thing I'd like to see changed is the lightness on top in the back,
it's raining so it should be darker, would add alot of nice dept and bring focus to
the characters more I think.

My first thought was "omg, omg, KHR wallpaper of Colo + Lal"! I think it looks absolutely gorgeous, you can see that look in their eyes as they gaze at one another... haha. I like the use of texture and Lal's hair, but the blob in the middle seems a little odd to me :/ Other than that, I adore this, +fave and new desktop!

if i started with my skin painting critiques it might never end, but you did a better job than most so props. all in all the painting in the skin and eyes needs more detail and harder edges.
i'm glad her hair is cleaner than your previous wall but his hair really needs more depth like hers. or vice versa. his hair is a bit too neat.
the texture is an AMAZING addition, srsly like it's perfect for this wall
the background needs to be way darker though to fit the theme of the characters in front.
and the rain drops on their faces are too big and awkward for me, i applaud the effort but i would have rather done without. they havent been filled properly and arent the right shape.
so to top off my critique(lol this is so frigging long) i wish you didnt do these two scans because they are just too close up to really make that great of a desktop compositionally--its always something you should think about before randomly picking up a scanthats all!

I just think you need to make the background darker. Other than that, I think it's perfect! A definite fav for me! ^^ -

<3 i really love the colours in lal's hair
but i find colo's hair lack in detail and colourful ness in comparason
i like those shiny eyes
though i find the skin painting needs a lot more work >
first off the colours are too soft and undefined, it make the lines seems like lines instead of surfaces that the shade can relate to.
and i think the shades on lal's face should be a bit to the red side a bit like colo's.

Apart from Colonnello hair that everyone else has already mentioned (the detail's there, just not enough contrast)
I quite like bright colours as well, but I think the main thing about the textured version is that it really sets the melancholic atmosphere of your wall.
I like the detail of the waterdrops on their faces.
