Soft pencils? Watercolours? I can't tell; my screen's funny. ^_^' If they're watercolours, I salute you. I've only touched them once before and never, never again. If they're pencils, personally I think you did alright. XD I'm too chicken to colour anything myself. The same way I'm too chicken to go over my sketches in more permanent stuff. Which is stupid. XD Very.
Anyways, I like the slight, slight blue shading around his eyes (again, if it's not there, don't shoot me ^_^') and the pic has a nice, light, summery feel. XD It's like he's lying on the beach trying to read a banner trailing from a hot air balloon.
Btw, the colour of his eye(s) is really very nice. :D Definitely my favourite element. Good job! -
