I draw and paint a bit. I'm not on Illustrartor that much yet, but It's clear you are seekeing for a style that is both uncommon but that powerfully attracts the eye, with the contrast of ligth and shadow as the main protagonist of your style. I'm kind of indifferent to this wallpaper.. I guess overall I'm happy with it. There's not really much to it, just a lot of duplication layers and a lot of blurring. :P I did want to keep it fairly simple though so in that aspect I'm happy with it. I just wish I had some smudging brushes on my Mac (slash I don't know how to install them.....) because if I did it would have a lot more depth and I would've been much happier with the outcome.
edit: forgot to put a water mark on it... didn't plan on uploading. BRB

It's been a while since I've seen a Bleach wall that caught my attention. Well done! It's loaded with effects without going overboard and the lighting was nicely done. Very nice wall. ^_^
