Ugh. This wallpaper...Lol.
So, after much self-debating, I finally forced myself to read Katekyo Hitman Reborn. About a week and a half later, I finished all current 26 volumes and decided to find some scans to work with (it became kind of an addiction haha). Then, I found this scan. I liked it and from what I saw as I scanned through the wallpaper galleries of KHR, it wasn't used (often), so I figured I'd give it a try.
It took about three weeks of extracting (mostly due to laziness and work preoccupying me). I've never actually extracted an image with so many people before either, so I guess that was quite a challenge. Everyone's frilly hair strands and whatnot near made me give up. My patience isn't exactly all that long, so I'm quite surprised I managed to extract the whole thing.
A worthlessly long story short, I had a basic idea of what I wanted the wallpaper to look like, but was stuck after that. With much debate and a little input from my artsy, little sister, this became the outcome. Hope you guys like it.

This is a wonderful scan.
The background and blood splatters suit the series very well. (Is this really the same manga that was considered a gag manga so long ago?! o.O) -
