Recently I was gathering up manga to sell, including my set of the Big O manga. I was flipping through to make sure I
hadn't left in any movie tickets or other items as bookmarks when I saw this image from the color foldout miniposter in
manga 5. I was instantly struck by the atmosphere of bleakness and simplicity this image gave off; Dastun and Roger were
very small in a large black garage with a landscape of desolate buildings and snow behind them. I tried to preserve that
feeling in this trace.
I tried to make a grungy "film noir" version, but I didn't like it as much.
This is one of the few walls I'll make without text. It didn't seem to fit the minimalist feel.

But I prefer the characters to be at the right side of the wall, because I have my desktop icons at the left ^_^ -
And preserve it you did. :) Perfect minimalism, complete with all the detail. XD
