Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Wallpaper: Quatre and Sandrock - Innocent Soul

I made this wallpaper a few months ago when I was just getting the hang of creating and using textures in Photoshop and this is the result.

I found some pictures (sacns really) of Quatre taken from a calendar in 2001 during the summer and decided that I wanted to make a wallpaper from it. So I took it and then went looking for ideas and finially found a decent image of Quatre's Gundam Sandrock and decided to use it too.

I used the Mask layers and the gradient tool (with a black to white colour setting) to get the two images to mix together in the middle. Then I used the smuge tool to move the gradient around to match the shape of the images at the bottom of the wallpaper to add texture to the wallpapers and so that I would have more space to put some text at the bottom of the page.

I then used some fancy text that I thought would suit Quatre to display his name and the innocent soul text at the bottom of the wallpaper. I put a border around the image and then went about adding light coloured textures as well as adjusting the brightness of the image to get the bright coloured effect that the wallpaper ended up with.

I felt that Quatre wasn't getting enough love so I decided to post this here, hopefully more Quatre work will turn up soon! :P
