The composition of this illustration is solid and looks good, but the techniques feel very experimental. Despite the details feeling a bit messy, there are a couple of details that I really enjoy from this piece.
I like the fact that you used multiple sizes of brush strokes and at times the strokes came out beautiful. All you needed was to clean up a couple of areas and make some of the lines transfer to the other a little more smoothly.
The shading is pretty good in this piece. I love it how you pay close attention to placing your lighting and shadowing.
Lastly, I like the fact that I can tell that you drew them your style and your use of the texture.
