Ahhh.. here's my late description XD
but first -->

And now about the wall ... I always wanted to try making a wall like this :D So when I discovered this scan I realized it's time to do it XD! I didn't
perfectly paint the characters or anything, but I think I colored them nicely :3 Each took me about three hours...
... and the background was made three days o_O It was drawn, vectored, painted, then more painted, more vectored,
filtered, textured... everything XD
and it's still so simple XD! I hope it doesn't look empty XD
I did the starry sky few times over but it didn't get any better from this :/
Maybe next time XDDD

I like what you've done with the sand and water but maybe you might want to make the reflections of the stars and moon a bit more distorted and ripple-like so they look more like reflections on water.

awwwsh i love ranxconan!
conan's face is a bit dark + the blue highlights on them look like a more pastel color scheme whereas the background is a bit strong in comparison--i think if you did the edges in more electric blue tones you would have incorporated them better into the bg
