Here's something I finished in August,but I never uploaded :)
This was the second time I tried to paint something,and I think I finally got rid of the quality problems it had
before...it's not perfect,but it at least looks better now...
I tried to make it look like it's water color or something,and I hope it looks good^^
Thanks `Sashinka for doing his hair for me...it may be lighter than Hiji's usual hair,but it's really wonderful,isn't
it?:)
I did plan to put a castle in the bg somewhere,but I got lazy,and decided to keep it simple as the original scan was
:)
I hope this looks ok,I really don't know how to paint properly yet,so bare with it for now,I'll get better next time^^

That is a guy after my own heart. I love mayonnaise (if that's what it is). I think the painting is awesome and his hair and the dark background is great.
I wanat to know how you went about making it. For example, did you outline and vector him first? I want to know 'cause I'm trying a painting wall and don't quite know where to start.

this is a unique one.. the paint job is different from what we always see on MT. looks more like hand-painted. that's my opinion anyway. :D

Instead of watercoloured, I think it looks a bit more oil-based. But who cares? It's great XD -
It does look like an oil painting. I'm confused as to why anyone would have a sword and a bottle of mayo at the same time, but hey, that's anime for you. Good work.

i enjoy the brushwork, and the interesting oldschool interpretation of the colors. I do think his hair needs alot of work because it looks so flat--singular strands would greatly improve the detail and lighting. and i feel more smoke would have been great
