So... I guess Cloti is canon now and all, but I've been a Cloris for more than half my life. :\ I like to believe that eventually Aerith liked Cloud for who he was in addition to reminding her of Zack after awhile... even though Zerith is absolutely adorable. But whatever, love triangles are far more interesting than OTPs. X3

Anyway... this piece actually started off as a 15 minute doodle on my DS: [link] And I decided to finish it up in Photoshop. Also decided to experiment with the "texturizer" filter in photoshop... Tried to go for a 3D paint effect of sorts. Not sure how well it worked out. How is it?

Anyway, my Zelda mood is actually starting to come back after half a year's break... so maybe some proper Zelda fanart to come again. :3 (other than endless Link portraits that is)

Colors DS, Photoshop CS4, 2 hours
paint-o-rama doujinshi-support-club

ps. I find it completely hilarious that the thumb for Aerith's tag is of Zack.
edit: I tried for warm colors but I just like cool ones a lot more. :\ So I uploaded a new version...

I really like this, Clouds look sort of reminds me of how he looks in some of his amano art. I agree about what you said lol, CloTi may or may not be canon but clerith will still be special for alot of people who have liked it for so long. And I think it's pretty much agiven that Aerith has eventually truely loved Cloud for Cloud ^_^ beautiful art though :)

...dunno if it's me, but it seems different from your usual style of execution. Strokes are really fine, especially how you did Kuu-raw-do's hair, but something's amiss... can't figure it out though...

I like the other art better. =P
