Hrm...I think you had a good idea for the water, but the shapes don't flow with the caps, making it seem disjointed rather than flowing, especially since you didn't blend it into the original scan, which is especially apparent at the part where the castle is reflected on the water. Abstract vectors can look cool, but like messy paint strokes can only look good if it flows with the contours of the object you're trying to depict.

other than that, I think this could've been a really great wall. I really love the colors and the general air of serenity.
