Dedicated to Maplerose for making two awesome walls (which I copied shamelessly).
This was my entry for Which?Waller 10. I wanted to blatantly copy Maplerose's last two Kunie walls so that no one would know it was me mwahahahahah! If there had been no limit on the number of walls (we could only do 2 this time) I would have tried to copy other people. As it is, I'm proud that mine wasn't the most guessable wall. The next round...can't wait. I hope the walling stage is good and long so I can make a bunch.
Anyway, about the wall. Vectored the Kunie scan, and I wanted to use one of my fav color combos, warm gold and blue violet. I've been really into the music theme lately, and loved this one since he's got the earbuds goin' on. It was a simple vector, decided to leave the skin white a la Kunie, but use colored line art. Gradients for the blush and the lips. Used patterns from Deviant Art for the shapes, and vectored the eighth note freehand (the auto shape eighth note was too rigid for the feeling of the wall).
"Banana Pancakes" is a happy, light, bouncy, mellow Jack Johnson song. Goes well with the colors.

Haha, when I saw this, I was like yay someone's trying to copy my style, maybe my walls won't be guessed so easily this time XD (yet it turns out my other wall was waaaay too obvious XDD) and I had a feeling it was you 'cause you're a Kunie fan too =D

i love this wall. hahaha. now i want bananas but i would have an allergic reaction and you'd have to call 911 bc you are sitting 3 feet away from me. nice techniques. totally looks like a 'maple' wall.

This was one of my favourites for the round. I figured it wasn't Maple, because that would be too obvious (besides the fact that her other one was) but I can't remember if I guessed it was yours. Nice work though. :)
