Actualy i really like this picture - i mean Kamui is sooo beautiful when his this badly hurt!!! ^_~ Ah... Kamui!!! but of course i dont want him to die! !_! and i guess that's why this image is a pradoxly one...

Kamui is a "depressed-and-dangerous guy." ^^ Oh, but is he really hurt or is he just liberating himself? Or it's not him who is liberating himself; is it Fuuma the one who is freeing Kamui from accepting his inner nature? (I almost missed seeing Fuuma's hand on top of the pik pulling out the tenshi wing) I had always loved how the X series twisted and turned the concepts of what is stereotypically defined as 'good' and what is 'evil'.

Like, does having angel wings make one sublime and 'good', while having demon wings, malicious or 'evil'? Does defending humankind from destruction/annihilation make one of the 'light', and vice-versa? In this artwork, I think that morals are discarded, and what matters is 'who survives?' and 'who emerges as the least scarred?'

Haha, this is the first scan in months that I'll be faving. It really deserves it. Thanks, fellow Childe, for sharing this one. ^^

This is a very...intense image. Not quite sure how to feel about it honestly. Its very beautiful, a beautiful death where one has taken your soul only leaving your empty shell of a body. Its an image that you've got to stop and look at, take it in. Its full of pain and yet...there's so much release involved, its almost a freedom. The Fallen Angel has finally been released... Thanks for sharing this beautiful, touching, and very meaningful scan. XP
