wow... nice job. painting is neat and smooth, the shading is sooo good :) you improved a lot :D and great job in the bg. it suits the scan a lot! therefore, +fav for me :)

I remember saying to myself that I'd never wall a CLAMP scan again...well, I guess my brain had another plan when it saw the scan of this bishie. XD
I decided to paint everything without vectoring anything so everything you see was painted by using all kinds of brushes. I also remember Kitten saying I was crazy...Yeah, guess I am 'cause it took me three days to finish this. XD
Anyway, I changed some things from the original scan. I also made a walkthrough you can check out HERE.
And I guess that's about it. Comments, faves and constructive criticism are of course, always welcome! :)
Intoccabile means 'Untouchable' in Italian. I kind of thought it fit him. XD

Ah, you finished it! Aww no birdies? I thought you were doing the
whole scan, you tricked me...
I really fond of the way you painted him, I think it needs more
intense light and shade though. Maybe use saturate more or add some
colors on his face on a new layer and then color dodge or liner dodge it to
give him more highlights.
I also think a center light would really make the wall more dramatic,
and pull people's attention to the wall.
I love your smokey clouds but those bold colored swirls kill the wall I think.
Splash some more detail on them or add some more swirls curling all around.
Just something to make them really stick out and not look so plain.
Man, he's so gorgeous (lol) He just needs more photoshop magic to bring it out :3 -

And your painting is awesome.
I just feel that you should have vectored the swirly line thingys and painted over it with ctrl select
to make them more flow-y, fluid.Oh and for every one elses benefit :3

i think the colors for his face and hair are really interesting albeit a bit too green for me. but i think with a different background the colors could have really worked in a textured dull sort of way. cant say i'm a huge fan of the rest though, i think the swirls are a bit weak and the part where his shirt fades into the background just looks ghostly while he looks so THERE. i dont know
it's an interesting direction with the colors and the theme but just not quite finished yet i feel.

I love the details on his face and the swirls look great. But maybe a bit more outlines on the character himself (especially his shoulder) could give it a bit more of a finished look.

Beautiful colors... really didn't the whole effect until I full- viewed. Was his hand that big in the original image? Somehow it looks even bigger here... and I must admit I liked the birds in the original scan... It would have been nice if you could have worked them in here somehow. But keep up the great work!
