Grounded

Apparently a four-hour speedpainting for practice. For some reason, I seem to have suddenly hit rock bottom after the last picture and ended with a sequence of hilariously bad paintings (I'm not uploading those. :P ) that put me in disbelief as if I've regressed for two years and haven't learned anything since then. This has, at the very least, rebounded that and I feel better now. (Or is it crap too? T_T )

No name, spontaneous, and no plan at all, this is a random moody hangar scene and a try at focused lighting. It's not the best thing ever but I think it's good enough for a practice... or is it? (I apparently failed to use my template for perspective lines in this picture but for a speedpainting, I think it's got better shapes and depth perception then my mech one weeks ago.)

I hope this bad luck streak or something is over now. :< Talent? Have I got it? I don't think so - I don't feel anything special coursing through me.

Dude, you? Talented? HECK YAH! This is totally wicked! The perspective is good, I get the impression of a huge, empty space in the rest of the hagar, and the skylights? Perfection. The fact that you can see reflections in the floor's surface is awesome. Great work, never doubt yourself!

    aeroplenz o:

This tickles me in a spot not tickled very often. Yes, I am an Air Force buff. :B
To me, it looks likes the end of a long day of BLOWING SHIZ UP, followed by a heavy maintenance session caused by previously stated carnage.

Yes, I dig this. Good job, my man. o:

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? You? Having no talent?

Ha! You've got plenty of it. Amazing piece as always... we all go through our dry spells as far as inspiration, but it would still be nice to see your other pieces. :) As far as this one goes... you did an excellent job on the lighting in the door and windows. Great job!
