"RYUUJI! Where's my lunch bo~" *CRAAASSSHHSHSBOOOMMMBANGBANGBANGBANG*
Crazy title for a crazy idea and a crazy time for me. Six hours of work all in a single day! I apparently tried exploring the mech premise more and almost turned insane looking at speedpaintings in CGPad.org. (They've got it good there. People aren't as 'awesomely' evil there either compared to ConceptArt.org. Either way, I just lurk both sites.)
Now about this picture - an achievement indeed. I personally think it's so far, the most realistic painting I've ever done. :) And the most outrageous one. *Note: mech is not going to hurt the two. It's apparently doin' the "IMMA MAKIN AN OSOM ENTRANCE WITH KOOL FIREY FX FOR U LOVEY DOVEY COUPLES" kinda thing. xD
[Edit] Had to update the image - fixed perspectives on one of the planes. ;) Don't bother comparing the old versions. :P

man if only this was in widescreen. seriously; this is a worthy highlight- as lady vitaamin mentioned "epic " i agree. the painting of the cherry blossom tree and the people in the foreground solidifies the balance of the wall for me.
