this is great and simple, nice use of the scan i would have never thought you would get something like this out of it!
I am not 100% sold on the text though
but its still a great simple wall and really does draw from promo downloadable walls

Description:
I've made a bunch of ghibli wallpapers in the past, and with the new ponyo movie out, I found it fitting to make a ponyo wallpaper. This one is simple, and I tried to keep it that way with the smooth edges (not many black lines) and soft colors. I vectored the original image and completely drew the water by hand (another one of the my "learned how to do something as I go along" techniques) and I think I did a pretty good job for my first little puddle of water. It's not the most realistic water, but I didn't really want it to be, I just wanted it smooth.
Also in the original image, the head is underwater, and in this vector I wanted to make it look like ponyo's head is peaking just a little bit :)

OH AND ALSO I actually haven't seen ponyo yet <_<, maybe if this wallpaper is popular enough I'll have to go see it lol
