I love the patterns on his cloak and the idea with the falling sand from his hand *__*
The background is also very well made <3
I think the sun should shine a bit more on the nearby dunes, but except that, it's a very good composition <3

Idea: saw some scan of g00 and decided to make a wall with it. Nothing else to add.
About the wall itself: firstly I must say vector itself took much more time than painting background. Once I finished vector I had to forgot about it thanks to exams. And I had absolutely no idea how to paint all this sand in bg. But recently I watched «Children of Dune» again and suddenly remembered about this vector with Setsuna I finished a long time ago. I was so greatly inspired by this film so I decided to try to paint bg ih this style. This was much easier than I thought. It wall was meant to be in yellow tones but then I added some more colors. Maybe I’m too critical but I think I overdid it with brushes on setsuna’s cloak. And one other moment. Clouds. I wanted to add some but they looked so horrible!.. And this is a desert after all.

c/p from AP
Even though I hate Setsuna, you did a really nice wall with him,I will gladly use one day...I love the painted bg,and a blue-to-orange gradient...The color changes you did to Setsuna are also nice and fitting the overall mood of the wall...
I do think you should make the sand dropping from his hand a bit stronger like it is on the original scan...Overall,nice wall, and you get a fav from me..

yay someone walled this scan of Setsuna! =D
good job extending his cape, and I like how you painted the background, esp the sun. I love the colours of the sky, and the stars on the left corner =3 (what brushes did you use?).
the texture on his cloak is a bit too much, esp since it looks so similar to the sand dunes behind him... and also, I can see some jagged lines (looking like outlines where there shouldn't be any) along the shadows of his cloak, maybe from too much brushing?

Nice..! haha.. thanks for share...

I think you did a pretty good job with the colors on this, can't really offer an opinion on the texture since I can't see it on this small screen. but I will say I think the transitioning in the sky is rather sudden I think some deeper reds or green if you don't want such a warm sky would help the mood tremendously
but overall a nice piece

Wow i really like this, youre getting better at walling <3 emoticon
nice vector, i really love how the sand from his hand looks
also background is interesting too, so its nice wall to look at.
i hate setsuna ♥ -
:p to all the Setsuna haters! XD I know I'm a Setsuna fangirl myself, but this truly is a beautiful wallpaper, anya. I've always wanted to see a wallpaper with this scan, but I had no idea how to approach it and I'm so glad you got a hold of it! You've made me a very happy person by adding the texture to his cloak, and it works very nicely against the texture of the sand dunes that you painted in the background. The stars were well placed so that you can't tell if any brushes were repeated or not (always a plus!), and the visibility of the sand flowing out from his hand in to the air was executed perfectly. I think if you had deepened the gradation of the shadows in the vector it would have increased the richness and depth of the entire piece, but you stayed true to the vector and didn't skimp on any details so it's still very nice. And you even thought of us widescreeners! This is definitely a favorite of mine ^_^

Effectively done, the whole thing looks so good.
I like how you did the sand, actually the desert is awesome.
The textures on the cloak are nice, but they look a little low quality.
Still, this is fantastic -
Beautiful. SO beautiful. Thank so much! Taking.
