Description time.. T_T I don't wanna.
About the wall:
It's kind of random, location wise. I just though a flooded checkered floor with koi living in it sounded cool. X3 And
it's fun to make water~
The scan was pretty clean, so I didn't need to vector or recolor the image, I just extracted it, cleaned it a little bit more and roughly positioned it in the middle, adjusted the colors A LOT because I didn't like how dark she was. I used the Inverted clouds filter - > Chrome filter to make water, using the liquefy filter to make some swirls and dips. I made rings on the waters surface, and put a rose, and rose petals, which I painted (X__X) from stocks. I snagged the koi from stocks, and painted those too, then added reflections on the water and shadows. I added some extra detail to it by drawing in water droplets on Miku's clothing, hair, rose, and rose petals. Also made the checkers, and changed their perspective with free transform -> Distort, to get the angle right. I added shadows to the floor, and used the maple leaf brush + dodge and burn tool to make the tiles look marbleized (though you can't really tell now.. XD) Then toyed with hue/saturation, and Brightness/contrast to add the final touches. ..I hope I didn't forget to mention anything. @_@
This took me the better part of two days. *dies of hand cramps*

I'm lost for words for the water... you did such a great job with the water esp because water is so difficult to design so that it looks crystal clear :D. it's a mix between real-looking and abstract., i like that. all in all the wall looks very neat and clean.

This is really cool. The water is so pretty. I've been trying to practice water effects and the cloud filter is a really good tip. Plus, the resolution fits my desktop :)
