    I don't mind the oil painting effect that you've got over the background, but having it on the characters isn't really doing it for me. The effect makes them look like they've got a weird pixel problem or weren't extracted properly. I'm thinking that if there wasn't so much of the "oil painting" likeness in the background having clean characters showcased wouldn't look strange at all. I do like the overall feel and look of the wall - the color pallet for the background is spot-on with the characters. Good concept.
