Collab - Kitten + Tofu = Sweetness
I wanted to make a new original so I began with my usual lineart,
which vectoring it Tofu nudged me and said she wanted to try painting lineart so I gave it to her. She painting my
character, using my cheesy color guide and when she finished she threw it over to me.
I added her wings, the red things over her. And Tofu at first glance thought they were lazerbeams ^^; which she then proceeded to shout out the rest of the time while the bg was being made. I used effects, handmade brushes, textures and lighting all around.
Vectored rock fragments, I want a destruction look for her. However since
I couldn't get the rest of the bg out my mind onto the wall I just rested with the effect filled bg. Took me a few hours
to get it to where both Tofu and I were pleased.
Tofu suggested making the wings transparent so we changed them,
hardlighted them and 100% opacity. Added sig and thats about it.
Tofu would like to add that lineart is hard to color when it's not her own
and she hates the pen tool! But Kitten is very fond of it :3 <3

yeah it was almost hard for me to tell it was wings also, but a little more when I imagine it I can see them pretty well. :3 Glad you went with the transparent wings or else I really won't be able to tell if they were. O.o Well done you both! ;D -

The painting is too rough on her clothes, but the hair & eyes are gorgeous.
I do agree that they don't quite look like wins, but they're beautiful so they're a great add.

I think she only reminds me of C.C. because I think I've seen a scan with C.C. in a similar position :P
Hmm...I think this one is pretty too, I'm just not too fond of the wings, or at least their position. I like them better in yellow, simply because of the contrast.
Love the fact that she has different eye colors, I love those~
Tofu did great with the painting, I think it turned out very interesting :3
