love the painty feel, esp since it has that canvassy texture =D The cutout version looks cool too, but I like the original better.
it needs a background though, or at least some sort of colour wash rather than blank white >__<
idk about the title. >_> I don't actually have one.
And I have stuff that I should be drawing for other people. I need to get on that, but I did this instead.
Drew this from 2-5 am, changed pretty much everything twice since I started drawing from memory and then was like... wait, I drew everything wrong when I finally looked up a reference... and this morning I realized I drew his bangs the wrong way, but was like, yeah, I don't feel like fixing it anymore.
Anyway... I found I actually liked the photoshop-cutout-filter version of this a lot (which I think is a good sign.
:P)
but then I might as well have just it vector art instead, and all those hours painting would've been a waste, so I'm
just posting it separately here for you so click this hyperlinked
text. Please? ^_^'

AWESOMESAUCE. Great job on the painted look. I actually thought it was traditionally painted before reading your description. ;)
you see everyone makes the same mistake when they see ur art. because you never mentioned that they were done in
Photoshop. We all thought you "drew" them.
doing that effect in photoshop actually takes greater skil than making it in paper.
no wonder.. I was wondering why they dont get credited more often. like this one did.
you should tell people how hard it is for you to get that effect. you are too modest! :)
