this is so beautiful and gorgeous, i love it all ;)
eyes <3 -
I can see why you got elite on this one, one of the best works I've seen on MT.
After looking at the "first design" I'm glad to see you changed the eyes, they looked very plain, but now they're just perfect, very well done. :) +fav -
you're too fast girl, I still havent started with my entry ><
anyways I totally love your wallie & the red eyes are totally awesome xD
well done & good luck to both of us :nya: -
hahaha.. I have nothing more to say~ XD
Well maybe if I combined what everybody said then it would sound similar to what I would say! XD
BTW.. Love what you did to the scan! XD Totally love the bamboo in the bg and the moon.. and awesome details to the dress. :)
-
hmm i personally think that the gray tones used in the foreground arent the best choices--mainly because of the white frills that act as such a contrast. i think if you made the shading on her skin lighter and mixed up some of the contrast on the bg, and maybe lightened the part of the dress around the frills it would work much better as a monochrome piece--remember that monochrome is all about how to contrast colors and give the right tone.
and on other technical aspects, i dont like the filtered moon, it would have been better just straight vectored and some of the floral brushes you used are a bit low quality which really hurts the cleanness of the scan. i would like to see those done cleaner :3
that being said, great job on the extension and congrats on the elite

Kawaii! more amazing work by Haya-sama! :)
The red eyes are a perfect touch to it, and the shades on the frills work nicely for the dress.
In other words, yet another amazing piece! Keep up the great work :)

fav! nih yang pertama... yang laennya yang q download juga q fav deh...
matanya yang merah itu membuat artnya semakin baguz... ^_^ BGnya juga baguz! &kimononya really2 awesome! mesti bekerja sangat keras ya, haya-san... -
this is so pretty *-*
-
I love the different shades you used, not just one "tone" of gray, if I can call it that. The eye looks much better than your first version. Great job. :)
-
Ooo, greys galore.
I love red eyes, and I like how you made the eyes only with color.
I love her whole outfit, very creative and I love the designs. Actually, it reminds me of Laverinne's work alot.
The blurry pattern on her is a bit distracting and makes it look low quality, maybe a better more sharper one would work better.
For the drawing itself, very nicely done. I like her design and little accessories, I have to point out that her neck looks a bit too long, makes her look like a giraffe almost. And also her hand is way too big for her body, shrink it down a bit.
Her whole upper body, where the kimono comes over just a bit under her shoulder looks a tad odd. Not sure it matches whats outside of her, if that makes any sense.
I love the background, very nicely tilted and cool bamboo <3 -
Great!
U made a wonderful job....(as always)
mhmm...i dont know mangaholic have a contest....i totally absence from MT for quite a long time.......btw,I love the details u have there, the lines, and i love the bg too....and especially love her eyes.....well....red in the middle of gray....it's fantastic.......
But , I have one thing a little bothering me......
Did u use a texture or something like that on some parts of the cloth ?
Correct me if im wrong.....but it looks like u did it.....i think it’s not blend well enough and maybe u must fill it with a color before ( coz it looks like out of place (just a little))and after that blend the texture on those parts.....though it could much better if u vectoring it.....
But like I said before....u done great job.....Oww.....I hear u r being fast this lately....or too fast maybe.....i’m sorry I was not able to OL and give any comment or support for ur works.....i got absence from MT about a month or more.......
Oh.....btw how about ur another work.....?(cough cough asucaga cough )
Lol....cie ditagih nih.........^^'
Well sorry for the long post......

very pretty, eyes have nice effect. haha she looks like she has a very straight back!

It's been a while since I've posted any comments, but I think you've got it with the *body posture* knack that wasn't quite right before. In this one, the shading around the neck and shoulders area, as well as the subtle bit on the face, really adds dimension to the overall posture, and it just feels a *lot* better. It's sort of like going from 2-D to 3-D.
The eyes part? A fantastic finishing touch; aka "Painting the eyes on the dragon". Everyone, please go through all the steps starting from the original source image!
Well done! :)
---
Like a lot of others noticed, the oddest part in this picture is the faded-resolution of the kimono pattern. It doesn't look that nice when comparing it to the rest of the picture, as a simple "part a-to-part b". However, I'm using it as a wallpaper right now, and somehow, it feels "right" that it's not sharp like the rest of the kimono is, as that would sort of make the outfit "too sharp". The difference in the intensity of the resolution adds a measure of depth to the art.
---
BUT... the more I look at it, the more the range of sharpness seems out of order, though. The "patterned lace-edge", as well as the "frilled-skirt-bit" at the bottom-right area, by being at their current high-resolution sharpness, vies for attention with the "4-petaled flower motif cloth part", which appears to be the part that is actually closest to the viewer. It might improve the depth quality of the overall art if the order of resolution-sharpness were to go from:"4-petaled flower motif cloth part" at current resolution-sharpness -> "frilled-skirt-bit" being toned down to match the main kimono body -> "patterned lace-edge" being toned down to be slightly above the "faded-flower pattern" -> "faded-flower pattern" being sharpened slightly above the current standard to blend in better with the rest of the picture
Looking forward to your next creation!
If you have the time to edit "Colourless Fate", though, please let us know, we'd love to see it!

this is like extremely beautiful!
-
The black and white is really cool. Normally I am a fan of very saturated bright colors but the lack of color here is very elegant.
