Artist Comment

Two guys I drew up from a story in my head. :) They're both 17, drawn here with their weapons of choice. Roquet is two hours older, lives with their remarried father. Kaitre lives with their mum.

Roquet (croquet, without the c...pronounced "roh-kay" - legit! i looked it up in the dictionary ._. hush) likes: collecting pocket harmonicas and stanley knives. Dislikes: slimy mushrooms and warm milk.
Kaitre likes: reading. Dislikes: nightclubs and handling raw chicken (he cooks a lot).

Kaitre doesn't usually look so confident. =x He's not. Only when he's in his battle outfit (as in the pic) duelling, is he really comfortable.
Roquet... well, laugh at his battle garb if you want. Just know he's not a girl, nor (as far as i know yet) gay. He just used to be in the circus, is all, and takes sentimentality very seriously. Never underestimate a guy in a clown's outfit. *nods* He may just whup yor ass.

But enough of them. :nya: Sketched this on and off for a few days. It's my third time drawing them, if you count the chibis :P Coloured it yesterday with the polygonal lasso *sigh* because I'm not very good at regular cg-ing.
But I think I'm getting faster. XD The whole thing only took me about 10 hours to colour this time round. Please let me know what you think!

    <lol> That's one thing I can rarely do... XD draw two eyes that match.
    Roquet never has two eyes (trowa, anyone? =P) but Kaitre usually does. X) *shrugs* By next time they'll have gone for surgery, I suppose.

    Hehe~ I think the one you saw may have been another. :) Perhaps the chibis of these guys (though that was ages ago XD)? Only threw this one together this week.

    Wow, you draw and breathe life into you chars. amazing.
    im almos backwards, i just start to draw something and it sudenly starts to take form and attitud. as if it where waiting to be discovered (or drawn).

    Nice story of both of them. i love the way you finished the coloring, looks very sharp and stylish, as if it were your signature ;)
