Title is the Fall Out Boy song ‘Tiffany Blews’ from Folie à Deux, it helped me through some rough times at the
beginning of the year and it started playing on iTunes when I was trying to think of a title.
I’ve always wanted to wall this scan but when I looked at vectoring it in PS I just thought, “Stuff that!” XD But
now that I have AI I finished the lineart in half a day, added shapes in PS. <3 I actually used the pencil tool in AI
for the first time to draw all the decorations under his hat and the button holes, it was such a time saver! I removed
the frill from under his jacket because I thought it was so uniform it made him look like a wedding cake. XD The
painting actually went smoothly for once, just had trouble painting anything black and the hair, though the hair was
easier than usual. I’m actually really pleased with this one for a change, though I bet it’s too bright or faded and
lacks shading on a lot of monitors. -_- Ah well.

am im so glad you decided to use shape layers for the lines this time, your shape layer lines raelly do have character
i love the colors of this wall, very bright and cheery with that hint of jester quality thats always present in ph scans.but i have to say that the gradient is unattractive--this is because its a simple black to white gradient in the background, it would be so much more dynamic if you added a color in the middle, like orange or red
and on a more nitpicky side, the painting looks nice but it's a bit inconsistent, since parts look like they are subject to white light and others to yellow light. in general, white light isnt the best color to use thought if done right it can look fabulous. for painting blacks, try not to use just shades of black and gray, just as painting whites shouldnt be white/gray as wellanyways great wall, and +highlight :3
