Like most of my wallpapers it was first of all part of any layout.
In this case it was the background for my livejournal shutteretedheart.livejournal.com!
It didn't took me long time because I had an exact idea of how it should look like and there isn't much done
with it. I'm currently using it myself. Look here ( deviantART ).
