You're not doing bad at all. In fact, I'm impressed. I like the soft touch you did on the character and background. Adding semi-transparent Japanese text of water was a nice idea.

This is really beautiful. I love the way Mercury sort of fades into the background and the kanji is a really nice touch. If this is only your second wallpaper, I can't wait to see how amazing your wallpapers will be once you're more used to making them!
