FIRST SUBMISSION IN PORCO ROSSO CATEGORY YESS!

... *ahem* This is my belated birfday present to myself. I celebrated on May 20th my 18th birfday. Yay ~ I had submitted this at any earlier time, but it was WAY different and I loathed it so. Despite, I ended up re-tooling it and I am MUCH happier this time aroudnd. I end up doing that quite a bit ^^ Though different than I had in mind, I do like this concept.

So the vector was pretty easy and extremely fun to make, as was the wallpaper overall. All the words under Gina have some connection to Porco Rosso's settting, plot or characters. It's just a lot of hoopla and fun-stuff! I found this scan - Gina Character Sketch by merrisusa - and knew I had to vector SOMETHING. I might do some of the others, but this is enough for now definitely.

FINALS ARE OVER TOMORROW. Hopefully there will be more wallking to come. Texture used from FEEL Designs and everything else is pretty much hand done, save a few brushes I found on deviant some years ago. Those are not mine - they belong to somebody out there. And, as for the title, it's a double entendra: Porco/Marco the pig and Gina's sorrow over being a widow.
