As awesome as the other one and although I'm more a fan of Rei than of Asuka, I've to write that only together both artworks look best.
Especially the different eye colours help to archive this "matching contrast" (does this make sense?).

Thanks for all the comments. It's the first time I upload some of my sketches and I'm glad that people enjoy it (I really didn't expect that).
Those fanarts are quite old now and I haven't drown anything for a few months but you all convinced me ... so where is my pencil ...
And I will also upload some old stuff... As for the "technic" there is none I only use a pencil and a rubber...
