Long time no see Minitokyo.

Never mind me, I'm just uploading my entry for the Wake Up! Contest at the last second possible. ^_^'

So my chosen drink is green tea, because being awake doesn't neceserily mean that you're high on caffeine and hyperactive. To me a cup of green the is both soothing and energizing, the perfect drink to start the day.

Here's the scan I used, it's beautiful and I faved it right away. The whole wallpaper was not only inspired by green tea and Nat King Cole's "Quizas, quizas, quizas" but also by the movie "In the Mood for Love". I purchased it on dvd recently. Watching it was a perfect inspiration because the song is featured in the movie and because I really love the movie's atmosphere. My colour scheme consists mainly of green and yellow shades (with a few exceptions) because that's the colour my green tea takes most of the time.

The patterns I used were taken from: Fabric Pattern.Net, Hybrid Genesis and another site I can't seem to find at the moment.

More resolutions will probably follow. This is of course a wallpaper for depths-of-sound.

Very classy and stylish! I love how you changed the colors from the original scan, these make the image look fresher!
I never would have thought a grainy, elegant scan could look so well when vectored. You really enhanced that image :)
+favorite, of course, and good luck in the contest! Don't worry, you made it on time :)

Yummy colours :) . Somehow I wish you'd retained the watercolour effect, would make it look more candy-like and glossy.
