It has been a whopping.... let's see.... ah, yes. A whopping FOREVER since I've last submitted something.
I'm such a silly PACMAN. :pacman: :pacman: :pacman: :pacman: :pacman:
The reasons why I haven't been making wallpapers are many. Everything from teaching myself how to read/write standard
music notation, lead sheets and guitar TABs; to teaching myself the basics of piano/keyboard playing; to picking up an
electric guitar and starting to teach myself that.
I've also been writing down song ideas, poems, lyrics and all that jazz. I'm even getting started on writing a science
fiction novel.
Yes, I have been a very busy pacman. WAKKA-WAKKA, indeed. :pacman:
Ahem. So, I was scrounging around Danbooru looking for something to wall (I had been planning on making a KICKASS comeback), I came across THIS picture of some hardcore chick in serious pain. Wicked!
I had this really abstract idea: Get rid of that couch, replace it with schematics of a battleship, vector her in equatorial colors, and add graffitti text, surfer sillouettes, seagull, and other shit to make a TROPICAL-ish wall.
Did not work out. :/
Then I entered a Pokemon craze and decided to stick this
fat pikachu on top of of our gal's head. I wish I had a pikachu on my head...

I then pulled an "Ah, what the hell?" and decided to throw the couch back in. But not the original couch, oh no, BUT AN ENTIRELY NEW COUCH, TAKEN FROM this SCAN!
Time to slam jam!
Now I needed to fill the empty space on the wall. Was gonna have the ship schematics, but it didn't work. So I found a scan with a picture frame, vectored it and stuck our main man Malio into one picture, and our legendary hero Twink in the other one.
By now it looked really Nintendoid, so I needed to form a theme. The original color scheme was brown and green.... which
didn't really match the paintings, nor Pikachu.
And that girl looked like...

Now, which game contains all four of those characters? Ah, yes. Super Smash Bro. Brawl, if I'm not mistaken.
So why not change the gal's colors to Princess Peach hues and see what happens? We're gonna need to change the
background colors as well...
SUCCESS! A NEW RECORD!
Finished it off by giving Peach (a totally remodeled BAMF Peach) a black eye, and adding a texture to the paintings and the wall as a whole (for straight vectors scare me, and eat children).

I do agree that the couch lacks in detail compared to the rest but still.. this is great -
this is so awesome. I love how changed everything, to fit more with the game. I like the little pikachu is so cute, and I like the girl(new version on princess peach) and I usually dislike females like that. I guess its the glasses. The pictures on Link and Mario are nifty if not a little creepy. Old Link needs to stay cute forever. Anyway the is fantastic and you don't get to see that very often.

I seriously had to make time to respond to this wallpaper. I love how you took one picture and morphed it into a theme, and even tweeked the original girl to make her Peach! (Peach is such a funny character to use XD ). Even the color scheme fits Super Smash Brothers. Link and Mario look so epic OX I think my favorite part would be the fat Pikachu sitting on her head... It looks like it was always a part of the scan. And I can relate to that right now. My cockatiel is sitting on my head as I type, oddly enough o_0
And yes, straight vectors eat babies... like Pacman..... and Animepaper. They always seem to complain when people put any kind of texture on vector-wallpapers... Baby-eaters. >_>

Anyway, nice wallie! I totally dig the way Mario and Link looks! And Pikachu is a plus! The second u added a game character to that wallie was a guaranteed fav from me. And thefact that it's of game characters I fangirl over (Link) is a plus.But besides the characters, u rlly did a great job. *favs* My only turn-off is that the sky blue color on the couch doesn't rlly look good for some reason? Like I saw the original image of that girl in the pic and she just doesn't look good on it (don't hit me though i doubt u'd read this comment anyway XD). But anyway I still rlly like it!
