This is a birthday present for YoruAngel, I think that's her user name here xD or her real name's Chriss >3 Sorry for the lateness *_*

First of all, this is something new which I haven't tried before - Scan extension. The wallpaper looks okay to me, but I'm not sure about other people's tastes.

So I saw this scan from Goto P, fell in love with the colours and decided to make a wallpaper out of it. I know that if I vector/repaint it, it's going to look way suckier than the original =p and I'm kinda lazy to extract her, hence the idea to extend the scan.

I penned the shape for the ground and started painting, then I painted the sky, all with my lovely Wacom BambooFun 4x6 tablet (yeah, I'm satisfied with it despite the size). So far, the sky is the hardest, because Goto P had a distinct style of painting. After a few miserable attempts, I managed to get the sky to look almost like the original. Note: almost ^_^" Then I added more trees to the right - you can probably see the difference xD I used a lot of the smudge tool here too.

Lastly, added some adjustments layers for the colours and smudged the scan again to maintain synchronisation between the painted parts and the original.

Er, yeah, flames and compliments welcomed, though I would prefer the latter xD

Other resolutions can be found here

Regards,
Yukina-Rei Rutherford
