It's been a while since I submitted something. *cough cough*
I saw these scans: #1 #2 and totally fell in love. ;A; So despite there being OVER 9000
Bleach wallpapers out there, I decided to make one. Sort of...
Made with Photoshop CS4! Approximate time taken: 30+ hours, with about 110 layers.
It's my first time using airbrush + smudge for painting on something this big so BE NICE. ;_; Criticism is of course welcome. I really don't know how to get rid of the overall dirty-ness.
Vectoring this was really fun though, even with the reconstruction. Sadly I have poor wallpaper skills so it's not that great of a wallpaper. I tried to size it so almost everyone can crop it (lol, idea is totally stolen from vitaamin).

Final notes: After receiving some feedback on this (which I am thankful for!) I did a major change on the eyes. They should be less "dead" now. :) Comparison: here

Lighting is pretty good. Image composition works. Vector is fine, however Orihime's eyes look dull and empty, almost as she was dead or in a trance. There is no enough light reflection on her eyes, even though there is a strong emitting source of it just right below her. The background might be just a bit too blurry.

anyways i think this vector is very nice and the painting, while it lacks detail, is neat and rawr i think its great for a first try. obviously, i will suggest adding highlights with the airbrush as well, and vectoring darker shades into the strands of her hair would greatly improve the depth<<man how many times have i repeated that in my lifetime. same thing with the skin, very subtle highlights in the cheeks and also where the collar bone is :D. remember with painting, more colors is usually always better, play around and have fun (and try not to be lazy although i should tel myself that)while the bg is very standard i think it fits and, well, its better than i can do lol i always feel like i have to fill my bg the f*** up.
anyways great job on this and i hope to see more from you soon, or later is nice too :D

The lineart is so neat, and yay because is not black :3. Amazing painting for the first try, I think it looks great as it is, I mean, is simple yet very effective.
I wish her eyes were more detailed, though.
