all effects done by adobe photoshop cs3 using mostly smudge and filters. took about 2-3 hours to finish everything.

Hmm.. I'm not a fan of that border. I like what you were going for, it's a just a bit too messy and there's quite a bit of pixelation that brings the quality down.
Some brushes looks a little random. Especially that green/yellow one at the top. Those black particle like things seem a bit overdone too.
I'm liking what I see, it just needs some work.
I like everything, but border bother me.
Great pic, ichigo kurosaki very cool fighter. He's my favorite hero in anime Bleach. Anime Bleach is very cool. Wallpaper is very cool drawed. it's very beautiful colours see.
I've just seen the updated the version :) It looks better, but some brush work still looks a bit random.
What of the green brush at the top of the wallpaper? This stands out the most because it's a colour that isn't even repeated throughout the wallpaper. The only splotch of green is at the top -- it's random and takes away from the quality of the overall wallpaper. I think you should just completely remove it - I love the looks it has, but it's just too out of place on this wall.
The brushes on the left side of this wallpaper contains the most random brushwork. Just above/touching the left Ichigo's hair are these blotchy looking things that look like poor quality abstract brushes. . . All I can really say is that the brushes you used and the way you used them just don't flow nicely. I can see the styles of the brushes you used. If you're going to use different kinds of brush sets, you have to connect them in some way (ex. same colours, group them together, etc).
Those blobs of light are pretty off too. You could always replace them or just take them off.
