FULL VIEW PLEASE. The thumbnails look like a ketchup accident...
So I was fiddling around with some random C4D renders I had in my computer (probably from DA) and during the process, I accidentally created a blob that looked like something more than just a blob. So after a few hours of tinkering I was able to construct a bird-like image with the renders. (I hope...) Then I did a little brushwork to create outlines, highlight features, etc and yeah...
I noticed early on that the chest cavity seemed opened and figured I could make this an anime related wallpaper by adding a character similar to Fuku's Wallpaper. The process of finding a character that fit took almost as long as making the bird... (Almost...) I didn't find exactly what I wanted, but this image turned out the best of the few I tried.
So um yeah... Comments and faves appreciated.
P.S. I tried to avoid making this wallpaper into a grunge wallpaper. Really, I did... (Very little textures added.)

I can't remember the last time I saw an abstract wallpaper!
The renders are wonderfully done; Not too sharp, blend perfectly into one another and the colors are just right. Add an Ugetsu Hakua scan, and you've got yourself one kick-ass desktop!

Woah, this is really cool looking. I agree with Chloe, can't remember the last time I've seen this type of wall, especially one so well done. (though... I wouldn't mind grunge textures. :p)
