Please don't say anything bout the buildings T-T gosh how I hate them, I had this ready a while ago but I just
didn't liked those buildings and I worked more on them, still don't like how they turned out, any tips for em
is welcomed,,thou I'll never do any again. I wanted to do more detail in the charachters hair but I didn't had
any imagination, don't get fooled thou in Hei's hair are 5 different colors plus 2 gradients d:
I'm surprised how the last wall submited in this cathegory is my Amber wall ;-; this series should be more popular
since it was great. The only thing I painted is the wall and the sky, no painty on the charachters, I don't know
why since most of my walls are painty. The outlines Are actually colored, cept for the skin, I wanted to leave it darker
it just looked better. It actually looks good on the desk so I'm glad.
I started it a week and a half ago, I don't know how many hours thou, I work only when I have time, and I
don't have plenty, plus I worked on others vectors too. I usually work on several and they get completed in no
speciffic order XD On the layers part I gave up counting I had a lot, and the characthers were done separately.
Oh well, enjoy or not.
Oh bout the title, I know there's stars in the wall, but since they weren't actually the real ones, and who saw the series know what I'm talking about..that how I came up with the name, plus it's also a song by Olivia XD

Oh look at this. Mean Tiger Cy decided to stop by and bombard you with another massive comment! What terrible manners this person must have. So, since Darker Than Black season 2 and the OVA are getting a US release come this October, I figured it'd be nice to comment on this wallpaper!
It's always nice that a great series gets love, and while I'm honestly shocked that Darker Than Black didn't receive more, it did get it's fair share and part of that was with this sexy wallpaper. So, you've got Hei there rocking out that beautifully colored hair with Yin and Mao and they all three look amazing. Seriously, there really isn't much else to say because you already know what I think of how well you can work with scans and the color-gradient combo on Hei's hair is excellent executed, not to mention Mao's fur coat looks great as well! However, I was glad that you worked with Yin's face. Her mouth before was making this weird expression, and now it seems more like her than this bizarre shape. Definitely a huge improvement from the scan!
One thing that I really enjoy seeing, is someone working off of a scan but taking their own spin with it. Some people can simply say it lacks creativity, or whatever else they want. To hell with them, I say! I actually like the fact that you cut out some of the after-glow the buildings had, as well as the quantity of buildings as well. I remember back when I use to try walling, I attempted buildings and I abandoned the project after trying for a month because I was just frustrated with it, so I applaud you for sticking it out and not only working with the original, but making it completely your own. Aside from some of the lighting, it's very well done and very atmospheric, while not detracting from the trio.
It's really hard to go wrong with this wall. It builds off a great idea and takes the ball and runs with it. Definitely a well played wallpaper for when you produced it, and I can see the foundational work that your future walls use.
