Wow, that's such a beautiful design. The texturing really worked with the grungey feel and making the colours darker and surreal. I'm unsure whether to like this one more than the original one, cause the original one is much simpler for the eyes with the plain white background, while this one is more artistic to me.
Loved the rainbow colours, they look harmonious and complementary to each other. And I think this looks good on desktop too.

Wow. I really like how you incorporated everything! The rainbow colors around the eye and the swirls in the pen really work well - I can so see the creating flow from one to the other. And as much as I like the grunge look the shadow around the edges seems a little too dark, but the eye on its own is just so intense it draws my attention immediately so the dark shadow isn't too big of a deal. Overall I think that the eye is what I most love about this - the emotion is very blatantly there and it's very intense! Wonderful! Thanks for sharing (and shame on AP - though I totally understand their philosophy. ^_^' )
