Hi!
This is the first time i have done something like this, i was pretty curious about the vectors (i didn't know anything about that kind of stuff), so i decided use this scan (http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/358365) to experiment with the vectors. This took me a lot of time and a lot of layers, is made in Photoshop CS2, i used the pen tool, brushes, textures, blur tool, smudge tool and... i think is all.
The most difficult part was: ...i think the hair, for the gradients of the colours, was like: mmm... now how i'm gonna do all that? (but after had done one part of the hair of Kaname the other parts were easy) and the jacket of Zero for the dark colours everywhere.
The funny part: mmm... the sky, the moon and the wall. I really love all that parts but my favorite is the wall.
The boring stuff: do the delineation.
The brushes were used for the sky, some parts of the wall, the mansion, the long jacket of Yagari, and the bruises of Zero.
Textures: moon and the wall.
Pen tool for the other parts.

i love your bg :D though, it would be nicer if the moon would be a little bit smaller.. so that the moon looks way more far away.also imo i think it would be pretty if you use more contrast in here ^^
