:nya: I still can't believe it that I've FINALLY finished this vector! I mean, I first start vectoring this for Vectory first contest, Beyond the Boundries (I think). But I couldn't finish it. It's too hard, and I didn't have any patience to complete it. It was early last year I think, I decided to re-do it from scratch. But again... I'm running out patience, so I didn't finished it again. It was after I vector Owaranai Yume that I finally decided to continue, and finished the outlines in no time OX But after that, I took it really slowly for the coloring. I'm too annoyed... coz their clothes has too many color! And I gave up so many times. But yeah, after a while I picked up myself and do it little by little until I'm done! YAY!

Believe me or not, the background is actually my 7th version. Ahahaha... I re-do
it so many times as I'm really unhappy with them. The last one I made is similar with this one.. but I made lot's of
changes. The most noticeable one is, I extend the stairs! The stairs is actually inspired from Lelouch throne ^_^' Hence
the red carpet with gold edge. For the curtain.. I vectored from THIS one instead.
Ah! Sorry for the lame title! I couldn't think of anything else!

EDIT: Hmm... I made the background more brighter then the previous ones, but somehow, I couldn't darken Syaoran anymore!
Ahhhh.... I'm soooo going to buy a new PC!
EDIT2: Oh yeah... I'll made some more changes in the morning. It's already passed my bedtime! And I'm SUPER sleepy!
EDIT3: Finally edited! I think this one look much better now. First I darken Syaoran's in the vector, then I use
gradient with hard light on top of the wall. The left side is much darker than right ones, coz the fireplace is on the
left side ^^

MUAHAH GOT HERE BEFORE KITCHAN
soooo i think the colors of the bg are off in comparison to the vector, i dont know it seems very dark and dungeon-y but the vector colors are very warm. i think you just need to make the bg (esp curtain but wall as well) slightly more red in the color balance.
the vector is definitely yours, can totally tell and the lighting effects should really be more.. orange and not white =]. i like your bricks >] but i think that there needs to be a black shadow somewhere on the wall, since everything else has black shadows but the wall doesnt.
anyways great job as always!

Cool wall from you, I don't think I've
ever seen such a hard scan done by you with a bg to go along
with it. You did a nice job getting it together in all, using different scans and stuff.
Nice vectoring, the lines are really, really thin though which to the point they look
like they're not even there. But thats fine, since it doesn't disturb the vector in anyway and there are no color leaks so no worries.The colors I think are too bright on the vector compared to the
bg, I think maybe darkening them to blend in more with the dark bg might be
better. They're hair especially needs some darkening since Syaoran usually has dark brown hair.
The fire could maybe use a blur, not much but enough to make it look like
a flame there. Not that vectoring it was bad but I think a more blurring look might
make it look hot and real. Also the bricks need some more textures and like darkening for a nice dungeon look.

I love the curtains :),but I think there has to be a bit more "dark atmosphere" on it...cause the bg looks like it's a dungeon,and whenever I think about that word,the next thing that bumps in my head is darkness...but that just me anyways ^_^'

I think Syaoran's colours are a little bit too bright, especially his hair.
The bg is beautiful, but maybe the wall needs some shading :D

the outlines are really thin but I like them, they go so well with the vector^^
Love the background you did. The only thing I'd suggest is to try and put more shading in the brick wall and floor, like the chair's shadow, the curtains' shadows a bit more too. Don't really know how to explain it ^_^' :x

Wow, this is awesome. It has a cool dynamic, like, idk. Everything just seems to pop out.
Kinda cardboard-cutouty, but detailed cardboard cut-outs. It doesn't quite look like everything's in the same room, but a collage. But that's what makes it look cool, imo. haha. -
This is just AMAZING. I can understand that you had a hard time. I try to vector a lot of times but i too have little patience and end up not finishing it.
