Happy birthday, Omone-chan! (Omg not late not late! *self celebration*) Omone you deserve to have the most wonderful birthday ever <3 I can't believe it's already your birthday again! Feels like just a few weeks ago I was calling you old on your birthday...and it's already a year from then. Wow.
So this one is a contrast to your gift last year...an angsty snowy night wall...I thought it might not be appropriate for a b-day but then I remembered you gave me the same type of thing on my b-day and I loved that one :P This isn't what I wanted to make for you (I wanted to do a CLAMP manga scan augh!) but I hope you like it ^^
I love Shiori...I didn't want to stick her outside and do another typical snow landscape background but her scarf is moving as if it's windy. So I put her near the balcony with the doors open. There's something about the background I don't like (sky/snow) but don't know what else to do.
And this is my first time vectoring Kanon? Omg did I wait long enough? And look the outlines aren't thin wow. She was fun to vector. I wanted to paint her and I started but it didn't look much different so I left it.
I must thank Sakura-Dust, I used the same source image for the background the she used in her wallpaper, |Breaking..Free|. Painting the curtains took 2 and a half hours...then I went and made them kind of transparent...maybe I shouldn't have. Painted everything else too. Hope it all looks alrighty.
This wall makes me sad for Shiori. Oh, and let us assume there's some sort of lamp or candle on in her room, due to the bright lighting on her face. Texture added because I like texture, but I'm not sure about that either, so let me know what you think ^^

Beautiful! I like the flowy curtains and her scarf. I could picture the details behind this wallpaper, so your description comes alive ^^. Hehe, I didn't notice really about the thin lines, but then I remember that you do like doing that type of style with most of your vectors :). I have not seen Kanon, but I like the characters :).
