Children of the Netz! I give to you my first lovechild for the Wake Up, People! hosted by Celestial-Luminesse and my very own Depths-of-Sound.
Energy Drink of choice: Jamba Juice with ENERGY! Boost.
Reason Why: Why not? Jamba Juice kicks ass at delivering magically delicious juices and smoothies, and their energy boosts actually work. Besides, the store always smells like oranges, and that's reason enough to visit the place. (free advert, bitches!)
Music-related Thingers: Ghost by Gackt Camui
Reason Why: I swear, this is one of the most energetic songs this year. In my opinion, it totally fits the theme of the contest. It's like an electric shock of pure awesome is injected into your blood stream, causing your brain to fry in undulated joy. I shall wed this song some day.
So on to the wallpooper. I was a browsin' through the scan bank looking for anything at all, when suddenly THIS scan punched me in the face and shouted, "Yo, use me in the most devious of ways!" That sentance always gets my blood pumping, so I was pretty excited even before I looked at the scan. When my feeble eyes layed upon the magnitutude of gnarly win, my jaw dropped to my knees, and I knew that right then and there, that I had to wall it.
I promised myself that I'd make a come back with my home-made textures and surreal themes. So I just went crazy and had a blast making this. It's all just random shit, really. I wanted to give y'all as much color as I could - as if I were trying to cram it down your throats. SO I DID.
Really, this is a perfect example of just going with whatever crazy and insane idea that pops into your brain without changing any of your previous work. And I'm immensely proud of this wallpaper. The man's makeup was the funnest to do. <3
The title comes from more craziness within my brain. The first word in the title is the japanese word for "Orange", while the second word is Swedish for "Ghost". Pretty obvious for those two. The last word, Passion, was taken from one of the menu items at Jamba Juice - Carribean Passion. Very nice beverage choice, Johnson.

Somehow I knew you'd wall this, I saw it among your favorites the last time I visited your UP :)
Well, it certainly is different, I don't think I've seen walls with gorillas and anime characters before! Half of your description sounds like a Valentine love confession XD *ducks from sharp objects* But I can see why you got so excited, this wall is pure energy! I think my fav part is the top left corner, just love the grunginess. And the fire.
I just noticed you left the guy's mustache out. He looked like a pimp in the original scan XD Now he looks like he jumped right out of A Clockwork Orange.
Overall, great work, Dev! Lookin' forward to moar :3
I shall add it to the group's gallery and make an "Entries" section as soon as I finish here :) Btw, should we have only the DoS entries or the CL ones too?

But yeah, this is just so freakin' awesome. XD Love the bright colors and stuff. Random shit is awesome, best kind of art imo. (going apeshit is even better. Pun intended)So I'm listening to the song... I haven't listened to Gackt in a long time. Haha, and the video is whack too. Yaaaay.
So I've yet to go to Jamba Juice. Passed by one just yesterday... I didn't know they made oatmeal too. xD One of these days I'll have to try it.
Love the colors and stuff. Anyway, using it as my wall because it's so entertaining. :p

I think it's about time I commenter on this wallpaper of yours old chap.
Really, because of this contest I got to know so many new energy drinks, most of them aren't sold here.
On the thumbnail your wallpaper looked a little simple, up close I noticed that you made some awesome use of textures. The colours are pretty funky and work well together,the song you chose has a really crazy music video and I absolutely want a gorilla shaped hat now. XD
Where do I get one? Will it spit Jamba Juice swirls? -
