This one features the LOVELY (in her own right) Naoto Shirogane! I wub her so much. <3

One day I was brrrrrrowsing the Persona 4 gallery and came across this scan of Naoto. You're all obviously thinking a chose to vector it because her breasts are slightly exposed. Well, you're partially correct. It's also drawn quite nicely, as well as being a perfect example for a personal philosophy of mine. Also, I felt like it needed color. It's a shame when the shitty scans are colored while the good ones aren't.

So I did. It looked... bland, so I decided to shade it. Which was harder than I thought, concidering how I had nothing to really work off of, nor do I have the experience of adding shadows. I did an acceptable job, I think.

Okay, that was done, now what? I realised that like my previous P4 wallpaper, I vectored a scan that was too posed, and as such would be hard for me to come up with a background. At first i was gonna COPY the style of the last P4 wallpaper, but it turned out crappy. Then, outta the blue, what you see before you crept into my mind. BINGO was what I mentally shouted while shaking my fists in a triumphant pose of glory! But for my plan to work, I needed to write a song.

This song must have meaning though! Must have a profound point that I want people to get through their thick, and often stubborn craniums. And at the same time, it had to fit the image of Naoto. I already knew that Naoto hides her true self behind the guise of a boy to be taken seriously. In the scan, she seems to be shedding this Persona of hers.

And that right there fell into place with one of my BIG time... things. See, I believe that people should be true to themselves. They shouldn't try to hide any part of them for the sake of being accepted by others. If someone doesn't accept you for just being you, then, and please excuse my french, fuck them. I mean really, what's the point of lying to yourself to please other people? It's a waste of time. I realise that people gain comfort by being accepted by others, but when someone changes the way they dress, the way the act, talk, think, all to fit in with a social group... it horrifies me. I constantly live my life being true to myself. So I decided to write a song about that. About the internal fight, if you will, for freedom from your self lies and deciet that you paint over your truths in a sloppy manner.

The style of the song is progressive death metal done in death vocals. Also, in between the second and third verse is a lengthy instrumental section. I haven't written that out yet, since... well, I kinda can't. It'a all in my head, and must stay that way until I can either find musicians or learn to play it myself. XD

So anyway, I put that song in the rainbow Naotos, and viola!~
I used the title of the song as the title for the wallpaper.
I covered all of the the simple bg and rainbow girls with one of the bashcorpo paper textures.
