Hi :)

In my free time , i made this wallpaper , i took this scan :
by sdelacruz
and i vectored the whole scene including the characters. Then i painted some parts.
It took me about a week . Thats all , i hope you'll like it.

    nooo wayyy i totally wanted to do this, but i wouldnt have for another year so im glad someone took over.

    the painting is quite nice and while i always complain about stroke path outlines, they actually fit pretty nicely here

    my only suggestion is that since the scan's bg looks alot more dynamic, you should have maybe added some yellows or orange to the bg to just make it a bit more interesting. and to replicate the lighting you can use a lighting effects render (its under filters in photoshop) and change the color of the light.

    anyway nice job

    I think the scan looks a bit better IMO..

    Your red lights looks bad. They go to points in the scan, and aren't fat and motion blurred looking like they are here. The sky is also kinda weird looking, layered looking, compared the original image in which the sky seems to blend together more.

    Nice effort, though.

    Great work. I think working with so dark colors is really difficult so, every time I find a wallie like this, I can't help not to fav it, it's superb :D (new wallpaper for my PC :P)
