Not to spoil anything, I hated that ending. But, then again, a lot of Gainax shows don't end well.

it's like the time when I watched FMA... before that I really didn't feel like having children, but when I watched Fullmetal Alchemist I changed my mind and now I'm eager to have two cute boys like Ed and Al.great power of anime, I guess =D
