Normally, I'd say Happy Holidays since not everyone celebrates Christmas, but the inspiration for this is largely
religious.
It's (obviously) inspired by Coldplay's Lost, which maybe not explicitly in this song, but the album Viva la
Vida definitely has religious undertones, and it's for a secret santa exchange at Ochiba.net.
It's not really a traditional holiday picture. Instead, I wanted it to reflect the feeling of hope. I guess
it's more an Advent picture then. :p
It's set in the Lost Woods in Ocarina of Time.
Oh wait, it's my first OoT fanart for two years! :D
But yeah, basically, Link's lost, but he won't give up.
In relation to Christianity, it's like how Advent is the time of waiting, when God's children are metaphorically lost in the desert. But during this time, we prepare the way for Jesus, our hope and savior.
