Hey, I like this! The patterns, textures and deep colours of the background are what caught my attention.. That and the
fact I thought this would be at long last, a Trinity Blood doujin. No such luck, I am afraid.. But still.
Hmm, is that person in the mirror the main character you made a doujin for? The one with a lotus? What's this lady's
connection to him, I wonder.. Nice mystery touch with hiding his eyes, and identity.. She's rather pretty, with her wavy
locks and eyelashes.. I like her hat and all those lacy bits on her outfit.
The abstractness of this picture is wonderful. Love the oriental mixed with that splotchy texture on the wall. Melting
candles.. some nearly aboriginal swirls scratched at the side.. That fringy sash stretching out behind her.. Lotus and
smoke..
Critique: I think it would have been better if the foreground (Lotus leaves, and her skirt) were darker, like the
background. Better composition, in my opinion.. While the 'reflection' is mysterious, it's a little odd that it's bigger
than the lady herself. It would have been better smaller.. and some foggy mist on the surface could cover his features..
The pattern on her top, the one under her er, coat, that is, is a little too straight..
That's it! Well done, even with the flaws. :)
