ooh, I'm a sucker for simplism and minimal colours. The orange looks good with the greyscale.
I don't really like the text though. It stands out too much and doesn't look like it belongs. It might have something to do with the colour; it's too dark black, maybe use the dark grey you used for the outline will make it fit in more. And the font looks too... boring for a wall that's semi-funky. Though I'm not a font expert, so I'm not sure what font to suggest, other than something more.. fun? ^^;;
Also, I dunno if it's me, but it looks like you blurred the vector (and the text). I think it'd look much better if it was sharp :)
