I was so touched when I watched this scene. Taiki actually found his King earlier, but did not acknowledge him then. This is when Gyousou finally became Tai-ou, thus created a life bond with Taiki.
I actually read the later books concerning Taiki's fate. He did eventually return to Tai to find his King again, with Risai by his side, but oh the pain and loss. -_____- And worse, it stopped right there.
