Was considering calling it "Welcome to my World" but it sounded kinda weird for some reason. Kinda just making this up as I went along, no deep meanings.
I actually tried painting cleanly this time, but it's hard on a 3 inch screen. >_> Nonetheless, it was fun.

oh, there's a version of Colors for iPhone/iPod Touch now, too, though I don't know how it works as I don't have either.

Tofu, you're awesome, did you know that? :D
It's a dreamy picture all right, and watching the playback was so cool.. I'm amazed that you laid all those 'slaps' of paint, and transformed it gradually into this magical piece of art! It's interesting to see how you worked, flipping the piece horizontally to paint the outline of her face, and the way you paint seems so confident to me. Do you paint knowing where you're going and what it should look like in the end? Because, from the initial development, I would never have guessed!

The marble-like objects are lovely, gleaming in all those colours, reflecting (or containing?) what look almost like scenes of forests, cities, fiery lava (?).. I admit that when I was watching the playback and saw you completely cover up the woods in the large bead in her hair, I was going all "Uwah! Why?" LOL But the city scene replacing it adds a more surreal touch.. I like how you used simple strokes yet make a clear suggestion of skyscrapers amid glittering lights, and a bridge stretching across.. Which looks like Brooklyn bridge to me, by the way. :) The toffee-ish swirls on the marble off to the left catches my eye too; makes me hanker for a bit of chocolate, inexplicably.

I like the rusty detail of the golden coils that look like broken chains.. Is this a suggestion that when dreaming, the chains that link us to reality break and we drift off into surrealism? That idea just hit me, thought I had to mention it. XD

Magnificent too is how you made her skin have a glassy sheen, reflecting light and more marbles.. In fact, to me, it looks like her face is reflecting buildings or towering rock formations, as light shines above and marbles rebound and ricochet off the ground.. With some fleshy tones on her forehead, it seems to imply that the shift between the real world and the dream world is gradual, like she's falling asleep.. to 'wake up' in a whole new world of possibilities. The rolling clouds reinforce the whimsical mood, especially since you can see it through her face.. Ah, and I do love her eyes, yes I do. Such a gaze! Such eyelashes!

Wonderful colours, wonderful contrast, wonderful concept; One of your best works in my opinion!
And now you've got me intrigued with Colors.. And I want a tablet even more. :D
This needs way more love than it's been getting!

I've got one thing to say: you've got a wild imagination.

Is that marble/bubble thing coming out of her? I love the effect. It's like she's "dissolving" into the world of dreams, which is just one big ocean. And that darkness that lurks to the right.. could that be a nightmare? It looks so dark and threatening.

Okay, so it's more than one thing that I said XD Man I wish it was bigger. I'd have so loved to have it as my background :)

I'm so jealous... If only I was half as good as you... T_T
I think this is my favorite work of yours so far. ^^
